About Course

This session will explore advanced neuroimaging with a focus on predicting blood brain barrier permeability of imaging probes, and recent advances in brain imaging using Magnetic Resonance (MR) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET).
Learning objectives:

  1. How newer MR molecular imaging approaches (i.e. 1H MRS, 13C HP MRS, DMI) potentially complement conventional proton MRI.
  2. Understanding the fundamentals of brain PET, including types of tracers, scanning protocols and data analysis.
