About Course

This session will bring front and center the current status of imaging and therapy research in underexplored diseases and health conditions which primarily or exclusively affect women. Drawing from the pioneering spirit of physicist Marie-Curie, discussions will be elicited on how molecular imaging research can be harnessed in tandem with therapies in theranostic applications to tackle these diseases to improve women’s health. Disease areas to be explored will include: endometriosis, ovarian/uterine cancer, osteoporosis, autoimmune diseases, neurological disorders and reproductive health.
