WMIC 2026 Will Feature Rolling Abstract Submissions!
Rolling submissions allow your abstract to be reviewed as soon as it is submitted within the general submission window, ensuring you receive an initial decision on acceptance or rejection within 3 weeks.

Notifications of acceptance/rejection will be emailed approximately three weeks after you submit your abstract if you submit before the deadline. If you submit on or near the deadline, notifications of acceptance/rejection will be emailed about four weeks after the submission deadline. If you do not receive your acceptance/rejection notification within five weeks of submission, please contact WMIS at SpeakerInfo@wmis.org.
Notifications of oral/poster status will be assigned after late-breaking reviews are completed. Emails should go out in late July/early August, but if you do not get your assignment by the middle of August, please contact WMIS at SpeakerInfo@wmis.org.
Important Note for International Attendees
If you require a visa to enter the United States, we strongly encourage you to submit your abstract as early as possible. Early acceptance will provide you with more time to complete the visa application process.
