Working at the intersection of chemistry, physics, and biology, Dr. Shapiro’s laboratory has three main cores: developing novel nanoparticle contrast agents for MRI and CT; using molecular and cellular imaging for monitoring cell migration, such as after stem cell transplant; and using targeted contrast agents to detect specific molecular epitopes, such as in cancer. Job posting 1; Job posting 2
MILabs is one of the global leaders in molecular imaging with the development of high-performance preclinical micro-PET, micro-SPECT, micro-CT, and Optical Tomography systems as well as human high-resolution SPECT. These imaging systems have received many international awards from the physics and molecular imaging community. Currently, MILabs’ imaging devices support the research of hundreds of satisfied users worldwide at universities and pharmaceutical companies. More details
MOLECUBES is an exciting 20-head scale-up based in Ghent. We are pushing the field of preclinical research to new horizons and contribute to cures for diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. We do so by building preclinical imagers, CUBES, allowing researchers to perform high-quality SPECT/CT and PET/CT studies without complex system handling and with very limited lab space requirements. National Cancer Institute / National Institutes of Health (NIH)
A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is available in the Targeted Radionuclide Therapy Section of the Molecular Imaging Branch (https://ccr.cancer.gov/molecular-imaging-branch) of the Center for Cancer Research (CCR), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH). The successful candidate will join a team of researchers whose goal is to develop targeted imaging and theranostic agents and methods that improve the management of cancer. The MIB is focused on the development and translation of in vivo molecular imaging and theranostic agents for early detection, monitoring, and therapy. More details
University of California, San Francisco
We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate with a background in imaging science, chemical biology, cancer biology, magnetic resonance, or chemistry to undertake research in novel molecular imaging and theranostic probe development. The work will be undertaken in the laboratory of Robert Flavell at the state-of-the-art China Basin and Mission Bay campuses of UCSF. The focus of the research is on the development of novel molecular imaging probes, including magnetic resonance imaging probes using hyperpolarized 13C imaging, and theranostic probes for PET imaging and radionuclide therapy. More details
The University of Missouri is expanding and searching for a full-time Clinician Scientist with clinical expertise in either Radiation Oncology or Nuclear Medicine and research expertise in theranostics or novel radiopharmaceutical development or testing. With the largest University research reactor in the US (MURR) producing Iodine-131, Lutetium-177 and the new wave of beta-emitting radionuclides and new infrastructure for pre-clinical and human imaging, MU is seeking a clinician-scientist in the field of nuclear medicine or radiation oncology to translate novel theranostics developed by world-class radiochemists, biochemists, and veterinary oncologists into first-in-human and beyond studies. University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW)
The neuroimaging laboratory of Dr. Nan Li at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) invites applications for several postdoctoral researcher positions. The N-LAB starts in April 2021 at the Advanced Imaging Research Center (AIRC), the Department of Neuroscience, and the O’Donnel Brain Institute at UTSW. Our mission is to develop novel molecular functional MRI methods to integrate molecular and system neuroscience and solve brain science problems. We are specifically interested in understanding the neural mechanisms of reward, decision, and motivation in rodent brains. With strong support from AIRC, the lab can access the most state-of-art resources for the preclinical small animal scanners (9.4T, 7T, 3T), PET, SPECT, and other imaging modalities.
In order to bring the best possible virtual networking experience to you, this event will be hosted on Remo. This platform allows for video calls with those seated at a given table.
You may register for the Career Fair here. Please check the email you have used to register for your link to the Remo event and detailed instructions on how to join.
Your Remo profile: Select “My Profile” from the drop-down on the upper right side of the screen. This will function as your virtual business card. Edit your information to include your name, organization, professional headshot and any social networking profiles you wish to provide.
Helpful links for Remo – System compatibility check; Mic and cam tips, How to remove echo; How to apply a custom background
Upon joining the event, you will be placed at a random table in the lobby (floor 1). You can change tables by double-clicking on any table with open seats.
Floor 1: once you are in the Remo event, we suggest turning on your camera and microphone.
All employers have at least one assigned table. The table name will be designated by the Employer Organization.
Networking: We strongly encourage attendees waiting for an open spot at an exhibitor table to visit another employer table and grow your professional network with others involved in the WMIS and EPMI!
Will I be able to share my resume or CV with exhibitors?
In order to share your resume or CV with our exhibitors, you will need to apply directly to the position on the WMIS Job Board
Am I required to have a resume or CV to attend the event?
