Visa Information

The following information is provided to assist you with travel into Montreal. Allowing sufficient lead time is essential – please ask us if you have questions.

WMIS is committed to serving all of the members the Molecular Imaging Community. The collaboration and the exchange of science are at the core of our goal to improve patient outcomes. WMIS encourages international participation and we would like to offer our assistance with your questions about international travel.

Depending on where you live, you may require a visa to visit Montreal. To find out if you need a visa, click here. For information on how to apply for a visa for WMIC, click here.*

Please note: If you are applying for a visa to attend WMIC, you must inform the WMIS staff as we need to submit your name to the Montreal immigration office in order for your visa to be approved. Please email Ashley Wren at awren@wmis.org with your full name, passport country of issuance, and visa application number by August 23rd, 2024 at the latest if you are applying for a visa.

*Visa Information Update: As of February 29, 2024, at 11:30 p.m. Eastern time, Mexican citizens travelling to Canada will need to meet new requirements to travel to Canada.
